MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – JUNE 8, 2009 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Steven DellaGiustina and Thomas Paine
Also Present: Susan Voudren, Town Clerk and Joanne Duval, Animal Control Officer
Susan Voudren mentioned that Jeff, Transfer Station Attendant coming into the Town Hall on Monday’s to get additional Transfer Station Tags. Susan asked if Wayne is his boss why Jeff isn’t getting additional tags from Wayne instead of coming into the Town Hall. Susan suggested that Jeff get enough tags to last him a month.
Susan asked why the Selectmen decided not to have a bulk waste dumpster this year. Steve said cost was the problem and the lack of people using it. The board might look into a dumpster this fall.
The board voted to go into Executive Session.
Executive Session closed.
Lev Skuratovsky purchased lot 2 on Colebrook River Road from Eastern Developers Inc. The Board of Selectmen was given a copy of the deed showing the change in ownership. Lev was camping on the property last month and was told by the Tolland Police to leave. Lev was given a building package.
A pole removal request has been given to WMECO to remove the light and pole from the parking lot at the town hall.
